Delhi Metro Yellow line
The Yellow Line (also known as Line 2) is a metro rail line of Delhi Metro, a rapid transit system in Delhi, India. It became operational on December 20, 2004, and is operated by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
Delhi Metro Yellow Line is the 3rd longest Line of the Delhi Metro Network, consisting of 37 active stations with a total distance of 49 kilometres, connecting Samaypur Badli in Delhi city to Huda City Centre in the neighbouring town of Gurgaon, Haryana.
The Yellow Line is the second operational Line of the Delhi Metro, after the Red Line. The Line primarily runs underground, with a few elevated stations and has several interchange stations, allowing passengers to transfer to other lines of the Metro System.
At the New Delhi Station, the Yellow Line also connects to the Airport Express Line, directly linking to the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The Delhi Metro Yellow Line (Line 2) first section consisted of 4 stations with a length of 4.1 kilometres and Became operational on December 20, 2004. Over time, the Line has been extended, and new stations have been added. The Yellow Line of Delhi Metro consists of 56 stations as of 2023, with 37 stations being active and the remaining 19 being inactive.

The current Yellow Line of Delhi Metro consists of 3 Phases: Phase 1 (Vishwa Vidyalaya – Central Secretariat), Phase 2 (Vishwa Vidyalaya – Qutab Minar), and Phase 3 (Jahangirpuri – Samyapur Badli).
